Last night our new director of business development Erin Martin-Serrano shared her international marketing wisdom with the students of Douglas College. The seminar touched on the basics of international marketing from understanding the four P’s of marketing to presenting two case studies about business to consumer (B2C) in Romania and business to business (B2B) in Germany. Students also learned the value of research for making data-driven decisions.
Erin has over 8 years of experience with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Business to Business (B2B) relationships in the education, military and commercial markets and has negotiated multi-million contracts with both government and commercial companies. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, she was responsible for IP assessment and global sales and marketing initiatives.
